CARD FUNDING FACTS


In order to make the account funding process as simple as possible, we have compiled a list of important funding considerations below.  It should be noted that these points should be read in conjunction with the points raised in the Credit / Debit Card Funding document, which provides a more complete picture of the account funding process.

  • When funding by card, your account is credited immediately.
  • Card funding is free of charge when funding by debit card.
  • When funding by credit card, a fee will be levied. 
  • Card transactions are executed in the base currency of the card and, where the account currency and the card currency differ, are converted on receipt using standard currency conversion rates.
  • The per transaction limit is EUR 99,999.
  • Saxo Bank implements 'Verified by Visa' and 'MasterCard SecureCode' verification measures to enhance account security. For more details on Saxo Bank's implementation of these verification schemes, please see 'Transfer Verification and Security' below.
  • At present, Saxo Bank does not process refunds. 

TRANSFER VERIFICATION AND SECURITY


The security which Saxo Bank uses for the account transfer process is 3D Secure Authentication. These measures will require that certain registered cardholders have their transfer verified; either through the 'Verified by Visa' or 'MasterCard SecureCode' scheme. It is important that the browser is not closed prior to the submission of these details, as this will cause the transfer to be cancelled.
